If this is your situation, it’s time to put an end to the suffering. Get covered with a siding that will never rot, fade and only requires a yearly wash to stay beautiful. Let’s take a look at what switching to a modern exterior will do for you.

Vinyl Siding

New vinyl siding installed by Built Strong Exteriors.

Vinyl siding has been around for a long time. First introduced into the market in the 1950s, decades of development kept this material as a ranking top contender in the siding market. Low-maintenance and cost-effective. Vinyl siding today is available in various widths, exposures, and design. Unlike its predecessors, vinyl is now manufactured in widths of up to .046. With the high-pressure injection mold technology available, vinyl can now be manufactured to exhibit realistic “faux” wood-grains, and in addition to standard lap, vinyl now offers designs in board and batten, shake or scallop panels, and even in stone.

If you are interested in having your home evaluated for new vinyl siding, let one of our experts as Built Strong Exteriors assist you in locating a material that is right for your home and investment.

Engineered Wood Siding

Engineered wood siding installed by Built Strong Exteriors.

Let’s face it. Wood and natural conifer products cost more. They are hard to maintain, and if not given regular and costly repair, the life-span of these materials will be limited. As a result, engineered wood siding products were developed for the consumer to offer a cost-effective, low maintenance siding.  Whether it’s called LP SmartSide, Truwood or any other manufacturer, these products were designed to eliminate the flaws that natural hardwoods have. These products in large are weather-resistant. Also, they help prevent damages from insects and small rodents and are environmentally friendly.

In addition, engineered wood siding is easier to install than real wood siding and less costly. This is because engineered siding is typically lighter in weight and has designed features that make the overall installation easier.  Available in horizontal lap, board, and batten, trim and panels, these products are typically available pre-finished, or primed. Additionally, we offer warranties of up to 30 years.

Fiber Cement Siding

Fiber Cement Siding products have been around a very long time. For almost a century, there have been variations of this engineered wood in the exterior industry. Although it was once made with asbestos, fiber cement siding is now comprised of mostly cement, cellulose, wood fibers, and sand. The main selling-point of fiber cement is its durability. Fiber Cement Siding is available in most siding patterns. Also, it is resistant to warping and accepts most paint applications. When it comes to the long term functionality of this product, installed properly, it has a Class A Fire Rating and an expected lifetime rating of 25-30 years.
